The TN Career Center at Williamson County and the North Tennessee WorkForce Board honored area employers/partners GraceWorks Ministries, HCA, and Kroger along with residents Autumn Green, Chamont Oden, and Senetra Muse at its Williamson County Customer and Partner Awards Luncheon. The Appreciation Luncheon is an annual event that recognizes outstanding achievement among individuals and businesses who participate in WorkForce Essentials and Tennessee Career Center sponsored programs across Middle Tennessee.  This year was additionally special as Workforce Essentials celebrated 20 years serving the citizens in Williamson County. 

“The Career Center serves a vital role in economic development and job training for our citizens. The Center is a valuable resource to the community,” said Rogers Anderson, Williamson County Mayor.

North Tennessee WorkForce Board is a state certified organization, which operates as the local WorkForce investment board for the area encompassing Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart, Sumner, and Williamson Counties. Representing Williamson County is Jackie Baggett, Williamson County Schools; Frank Jennings, Middle TN Electric Membership Corp; Jennifer Lagutin, Enterprise Fleet Management; Matt Largen, Williamson County Economic Development Council; and Matt Lowney, The Buntin Group. 

WorkForce Essentials, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation providing training programs to businesses and opportunities for job seekers through the Tennessee Career Center System. The Career Center at Williamson County is located at 225 Noah Drive in Franklin.
