BGA inducts 25 into Artist Guild

The Artist Guild inducted 25 new members on Nov. 14 during the morning assembly. The Artist Guild is BGA's Upper School honors group for the Arts. Entrance is gained through competitive audition. The group consists of vocal and instrumental musicians, dancers, dramatic performances, writers and visual artists.
There are five faculty sponsors of the Artist Guild, including Carol Lea-Mord (Art Department Chair), Jenny Noel (drama), Robert Walker (literature), John Propper (music/band) and Anne Snider (music/choir). Audition judges include all of the sponsors as well as Shari Gerth (lower school music), Diane Parker (lower school art), Lynn Jung (CPA choral director) and Amanda Lamb (local actress).
Guild Night is the public performance offered by this group to the community. The 2012 Guild Night performance is Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Harlin Student Center. All are welcome to attend, and the performance is free and open to the public.
