Earnest ‘Junior” Pruitt, Jr., obituary
Earnest Savage “Junior” Pruitt, Jr., 70 of College Grove, Tenn., died Nov. 22, 2012.
He was a retired employee of the City of Franklin Street Department.
Mr. Pruitt was born in Rutherford County to the late Earnest and Willie Joe Pruitt. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Ray Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife, Joyce Pruitt of the Allisona Community, Tenn.; sons, Earnest (Cheri) Pruitt of the Bethesda Community Tenn., Richard (Brandy) Pruitt of the Theta Community, Tenn. and Robert Clark of Lewisburg, Tenn.; daughter, Melody (Lonnie) Emler of the Mobleys Cut Community, Tenn. and Mary Jo Pruitt; brothers, R.B. (Carrina) Pruitt of the Burwood Community, Tenn., Dewayne Pruitt and Bobby Joe Pruitt of the Burwood Community, Tenn.; sisters, Joyce (Wayne) Wise of Spring Hill, Tenn. and Brenda (Mark) Hargrove of the Burwood Community, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Nov. 26, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Nephews served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the employees of the City of Franklin Street Dept., Tony Phillips and Jerry White.
Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
