Franklin Police arrest convicted felon on drug and gun charges

Chief: “If you sell drugs in Franklin, your arrest is imminent”
Shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, Franklin police executed a narcotics search warrant at 115 Thompson Alley, Apartment 6-F.
Franklin Police SWAT secured the apartment after an investigation by Narcotics and Vice Detectives revealed that the resident was selling drugs out of the unit. Guns, crack cocaine, and marijuana were found inside the suspect’s apartment tonight.
Timothy Carlton, a registered sex offender and convicted felon with a history including assault, drug, and weapons charges, was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
“This investigation should serve as notice to drug dealers that their crimes will not be tolerated in our City,” said Franklin Police Chief David Rahinsky. “If you sell drugs in Franklin, your arrest is imminent.”
Timothy Latrell Carlton, 36, of 115 Thompson Alley #6-F, Franklin was arrested and charged with assault, drug and weapons charges.
