BrightStone’s annual Christmas Program and Reception
“Christmas Time is Here” – and you don’t want to miss it! BrightStone’s annual Christmas Performance is set for Thursday, Dec. 13 in Jamison Hall at The Factory in Franklin.
Each year the BrightStone adults, who live with developmental disabilities, work very hard for several months to learn and perform a variety of holiday songs. The program consists of choral music, instrumentals, dancing, and there’s a surprise or two as well! Produced and directed by Judy Fincannon, volunteer music teacher and choral director, the adults will bless you with their cheerful voices, personal accomplishments and holiday cheer.
This annual event is BrightStone’s gift to the community, as there is no charge to attend. Last year’s performance attracted more than 400 guests, so plan to arrive early. Sponsors are Williamson Medical Center and The Factory at Franklin and Jo West of Jo’s Custom Cakes and Catering is providing refreshments.
“We have guests who tell us that this performance sets the tone and kicks off their holidays each year,” said Brenda Hauk, Executive Director for BrightStone. “You will smile, laugh, and perhaps even shed a tear or two, but you will be so glad that you came. Please join us!”
BrightStone is a resource in the community providing job training and employment opportunities for adults who are developmentally disabled.
