Philip Jospeh Powell, 55 of Donelson, Tenn. died Dec. 4, 2012 at his residence.
He was born April 19, 1957 in Nashville, and was the son of Leonard Leo Powell, Sr. and Larue Kiser Powell. He was married to Wendy Carney Powell, who preceded him in death Dec. 18, 2008. Survivors include his two sons: Andrew Powell and Daniel Powell of Donelson; two brothers: Leonard Leo Powell, Jr of Donelson and David E. Powell of Nolensville; and several nieces and nephews.
Under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of Franklin, graveside services were held Dec. 10, 2012 in the historic Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.
Heritage Funeral Home of Franklin assisted the family with arrangements.
