James ‘Gene’ Sullivan, obituary

James Eugene “Gene” Sullivan, 89 of Spring Hill, Tenn., died Dec. 14, 2012 at Williamson Medical Center.
He was a member of New Life Baptist Church and a member of Sugar Ridge Bluegrass & Gospel Band. He was a loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers. Mr. Sullivan is survived by wife, Mildred Warren Sullivan of Spring Hill, Tenn.; sons, Bobby Wayne (Mable) Sullivan of Franklin, Tenn. and James Neal (Cathy) Sullivan of Henderson, Tenn.; daughter, Linda (Fred) Brooks of Spring Hill, Tenn.; brothers, Sam (Catherine) Sullivan of Columbia, Tenn. and Linden (Mildred) Sullivan of Cross Bridges Community, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Services were conducted Dec. 17, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Chad Roland officiating. Burial was in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Earl Donges, Steve Cothran, Wayne Sullivan, Dan Simpson, David Staggs and Blaine Malcom. Honorary pallbearers David Warren, Sam Beddingfield, Fred Brooks, J.O. Martin and James Fitzgerald.
Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
