Thomas Hickman, obituary

Thomas Douglas Hickman, 79 of the Bethesda Community, Tenn., died Dec. 17, 2012.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Hickman and nephew, David Hickman. Mr. Hickman is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris Carney Hickman; daughter, Sherry (Phil) Unguren; sons, Ricky (Rachel) Hickman, Randy (Pam) Hickman, Jeff (Donna) Hickman and Kenny (Angie) Hickman; grandchildren, Lindsey (Al) Walsh, Brandi (Brandon) Ray, Caleb (Ashley) Hickman and Katie Hickman; great grandchildren, Brayten and Brodie Ray; brother, Harry (Jane) Hickman; sister, Linda (Melvin) Gray; special friends, Charles and Patty Collom.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 2 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. John Eatherly officiating. Interment will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, noon to 2 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Randy, Jeff, Kenny, Caleb and Harry Hickman, Brandon Ray, Charles Collom, Roy Ruth and Charlie Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Unguren, Melvin, Chad and Scott Gray, Keith Hickman, Raymond Sumner, Everett and Doug Hayes, Gilman Lynch, Ronnie Thurman, Jody Spears, Eugene McMillan and Charles Edward Hood.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
