Jimmy Veach, obituary

Jimmy Veach, 58 of Franklin, Tenn., died at his home Dec. 25, 2012.


A native of Williamson County, he was born March 9, 1954 and spent his life in Franklin. He attended school and worked for many years until his health forced him away from his love of cars. When he was able, he was an auto mechanic and spent his free time building muscle cars. He was the son of the late Elijah and Rachel Hicks Veach.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the historic Epworth Methodist Church, 4241 Arno Road, Franklin, Tenn. with Rev. Anita Pringle officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mr. Veach is survived by two sisters: Mary Young of McEwen, Tenn., and Nadine Williams of Spring Hill, Tenn.; and a brother: Elijah Veach, Jr. of Franklin, Tenn.

The Veach family is being assisted by Heritage Funeral Home-Franklin.
