Juanita Naranjo, obituary
Juanita Carmen Naranjo, 79 of Franklin, Tenn., died Dec. 18, 2012.
She was born Aug. 2, 1933 in Pittsfield, Mass. to the late Joseph C. and Carmen Scaffo Naranjo. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School and a 1955 graduate of the College of Our Lady of the Elms.
Mrs. Naranjo was a teacher for the Department of Defense Dependents School, working in England, Germany, France and Bermuda. She taught for more than two decades at Berlin Elementary School, retiring in 1992.
She has been a resident of Franklin, Tenn. for the past 20 years, and was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church.
Mrs. Naranjo is survived by her brother, Charlie (Gilda) Naranjo of Natick, Mass.; a sister, Rita (Bob) Buzzard of Palmyra, Va.; and many other loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. with visitation two hours prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
