This week’s Gateway Tire High School Basketball Player of the Week is Garrison Mathews of Franklin High School. The sophomore forward scored 14 points on Saturday in a 55-49 overtime victory against Summit, 15 points in a 57-51 win against Hillsboro, and 20 points on Jan. 22 in a 75-69 loss to Independence.
