The Franklin girls jumped over the Lady Cougars in the first quarter on their way to a 61-30 win on the road.
With a 22-4 lead at the end of the first, Franklin never let Centennial back in the game by forcing the Lady Cougars to commit turnovers with their fierce defense.
Rachel Hawn led Franklin with 16 points with Hannah Harris scoring 10. The Lady Rebels also had strong performances from Jodi Hill, Anna Patton and Angela McPeak.
Centennial’s Jordan Johnson was impressive on the offensive boards along with scoring 19 or her team’s 30 points.
