Williamson County’s three girls basketball teams in District 12-AA advanced in their league’s tournament Tuesday night.
Spring Hill 27
The No. 1 seeded Lady Patriots took care of business against No. 8 Spring Hill, holding the visitors to five points in the second half. During that span, Page scored 19 points.
Bria White, Williamson County’s leading scorer, led Page with 19 points while Cat Taylor added 14 points and two 3-pointers,
The win advances Page to an intra-county game against Fairview Friday at 4 p.m.
Hickman County 45
The Lady Yellow Jackets advance to face Page thanks to a six-point victory over Hickman County in the No.4 vs. No. 5 game.
Trailing 31-28 after three quarters, Fairview outscored Hickman County 23-14 in the final eight minutes.
Tiffany Franks led the Lady Jackets with 20 points with Cierra McDonald adding 15.
Marshall County 40
The No. 6 seed Lady Spartans upset No. 3 Marshall County, largely due to a 13-5 run in the third quarter.
Caroline Patrick led Summit with 13 points while Teondra Crawford added 12.
Summit advances to play No, 2 seed Lewis County Friday at 7 p.m. Lewis County defeated Giles County 59-36 Tuesday night to advance.
The remainder of the District 12-AA tournament will be played at Fairview High School.

Father Ryan hit 10 3-pointers in their 13-point victory over the Eagles. BA was led by Danny McGrath who hit five 3s of his own on the way to 17 points. Brandon Taylor added eight points.

Battle Ground Academy
The Big Red edged BGA despite the Wildcats knocking down nine 3-pointers on the night. Nathan Moran had a team-high 17 points while Gavin Shellnut added 11 points and three 3-pointers.
Independence’s boys basketball team clinched second place in the District 11-AAA standings Friday night, defeating Franklin 67-50.
The Eagles had four scorers in double-digits, led by junior Vic Wharton with 17. Trenton Perry chipped in with 13 points and two 3-pointers while Cam Miller and Lucas Luttrell each sunk a 3-pointer on their way to 11 points.
Franklin (15-11, 4-6) was led by Ben Hagaman with 12 points.
Brentwood Academy 36
A 14-2 second-quarter run for Baylor proved to be too much for Brentwood Academy to overcome as the Eagles fell by seven points. Ed Wilks led BA with 11 points Eric Henninger and Josh Lester had 10 points each.
Brian Dangerfield scored 31 points for BGA in their loss to Ensworth. Gavin Shellnut added 17 points and five 3-pointers for the Wildcats.
The Cougars fell behind Hillsboro 27-18 in the first half and could not mount a comeback. Centennial was led by Matt Pond’s 12 points while Marquis Crawford added nine.
Hunter Benefield scored 35 points as the Patriots rallied to beat Summit. Trailing 46-30 after three quarters, Page went on a 30-6 run in the fourth quarter. Donte DeSalle and Dylan White each chipped in 12 points for the Patriots while Makinde London had 20 points for Summit.
Lewis County 51
Isaac Edmondson scored 22 points as Fairview defeated Lewis County. Lewis County inched back into contention with a 20-12 third quarter – bringing the score to within four points – before the Yellow Jackets widened their lead in the final eight minutes. Deondre Moore added 16 points for Fairview.

Battle Ground Academy 47
Harpeth Hall opened the game with a 26-11 first quarter and did not look back. The Lady Wildcats got solid production as Allison Cowie scored 17 points and Caroline Abbott 16 points and two 3-pointers.

Trailing 12-11 at halftime, the Lady Eagles rallied with a 15-8 run in the third quarter to take the advantage. Jai Murphy led the team with 11 points while India Hall and Breuna Jackson each added six points.
Ravenwood’s season ended with a 15-point loss to No. 3 seed Hillsboro in the 11-AAA tournament. Trailing by just three points after the first quarter, Hillsboro held Ravenwood scoreless in the second. Lexi McKay had a team-high seven points while Erin Johnson added six.

Brentwood Academy edged Baylor despite not having a player with double-digit points. Breuna Jackson led BA with nine points while Jai Murphy added eight.
Battle Ground Academy 21
Powerhouse Ensworth had little trouble against BGA. Allison Cowie led the Lady Wildcats with 11 points.
Independence was steady against Franklin through as the win put them in a three-way tie atop the District 11-AAA standings. Laina Buche had a game-high 11 points and three 3-pointers for Indy while Hannah Winters added nine points. Jodi Hill led Franklin with six points.
Araya Flemings had a career-high 36 for Hillsboro in the Lady Burros’ victory. Jordan Johnson led Centennial with 12 points while Taylor Maxwell chipped in with 10.
Lewis County 63
A 25-8 run by Lewis County in the second quarter proved to be the difference as Fairview fell by 12 points. Cierra McDonald led the Lady Yellow Jackets with 21 points while Taylor Langston added 12.
The Lady Patriots continue to extend their win streak with a double-digit victory against county-rival Summit. Bria White led Page with 22 points while Cat Taylor added 16 and two 3-pointers. Teondra Crawford led Summit wit 12 points.
