Three armed men rob Columbia Avenue market

Franklin Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night at Tim’s Market, located at 1535 Columbia Avenue. At 7 p.m. Thursday, three men entered the store and threatened the clerk with handguns while demanding money. The clerk was repeatedly struck in the face by one of the suspects and then transported to an area hospital. Police hope that video from the store’s surveillance system will help to identify the suspects.
