Lady Raptors split Saturday softball games

Ravenwood softball completed their run in the Commando Classic last weekend with 5-3 overall record, splitting their four games on Saturday.

 

The Lady Raptors did not begin the day the way they’d like, falling to Lebanon 12-3 as the Lady Blue Devils jumped to a four-run first inning.

 

Things improved for Ravenwood as the followed the loss with a 2-0 win over White House Heritage. Raygan Greer got the win for the Lady Raptors, striking out nine batters while allowing only one hit.

 

Ravenwood went on to beat Riverdale later in the day, scoring two runs in the top of the

fifth inning. Greer got the win again, striking out four batters.

 

The Lady Raptors ended the tournament with a 1-0 loss to Siegel. Greer took the loss despite striking out five and not giving up a hit.
