He was also named one of People magazine's “Most Beautiful People.”

“Now in its 24th year the Steak & Burger Dinner plays a crucial role in raising funds for the kids we serve in Williamson County. It also helps raise public awareness about the thousands of lives impacted by Boys & Girls Clubs each year in our local community,” said Denise Carothers, Williamson County area vice president for Boys & Girls Clubs Middle Tennessee. “Each year, we highlight our kid’s talents and provide the opportunity for Club members (ages 5 to 18) to see a ‘star’ who will perform in their honor.  Over 50 Club kids will participate in this year’s dinner.”

For more than 110 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee have provided a fun and safe environment for youth, ages 5 to 18, to learn, play, meet new friends and grow.  From tutoring and career exploration to sports, arts and community service, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee provides top-quality academic and social programs to over 2,000 Middle Tennessee youth annually. Whether it is learning how an individual can make a difference in his/her community or learning how to play basketball – the clubs strive to help youth feel important and put their dreams of a great future within reach.
