Roadside-delivery twins reunited with delivery team
Twin sisters Heidi and Brooklynn Howard were reunited with the first responders who helped deliver them on I-65 in the back of an ambulance Feb. 28. The reunion took place March 28 at Williamson Medical Center.
Anne Howard gave birth to the healthy twin baby girls on I-65 Feb. 28. She has been recovering at home in Spring Hill since her unexpected early morning roadside delivery.
“By the time the officer opened the door, the first baby was crowning,” Howard said. “Thankfully he pulled us over, because he suggested we call 911 and EMS arrived in five minutes. I don’t know what would have happened if they hadn’t gotten to us when they did.”
