Franklin Synergy sponsors concert series for Westhaven residents, guests

Franklin Synergy Bank will sponsor the Westhaven Concert on the Lawn Series, set to begin Friday, May 17.

The bank opened a branch in Westhaven’s Town Center in June 2012.

“The Westhaven Concert Series held its inaugural season in 2005,” said Mark McCutcheon, president of the The Westhaven Foundation board of trustees. “To have Franklin Synergy Bank help continue the Series in 2013 is wonderful – it is a very generous gift.”

The Concert on the Lawn Series kicks off May 17 will Motown hits from the ’50s and ’60s by the venerable Wooten Brothers. The series takes place on select nights through September.

“Westhaven is a great community and we are proud to be a part of it,” said Al Gregory, Franklin Synergy Bank vice president. “Westhaven is planning a great series for 2013. Our sponsorship this year is our way of expressing our appreciation to our neighbors in Westhaven.”

The Westhaven Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501-3 organization established in 2007 by the residents of Westhaven with support from Southern Land Company, to promote lifelong learning, leadership, preservation, philanthropy and environmental awareness within Westhaven and the greater Franklin community.
