By Carole Robinson, Senior Writer
During today’s Franklin Tomorrow Breakfast with the Mayors, County Mayor Rogers Anderson and Franklin Mayor Dr. Ken Moore proclaimed Tuesday, April 30 Dave Ramsey Day – a day to pay special tribute to Ramsey’s achievements as a radio and television personality, a motivational speaker and the author of several books.
“Mr. Ramsey provides a strong focus and encouragement for people to get out of debt,” the proclamation read.
According to the document, Ramsey’s message of hope and his understanding of the principles of money management continue to have an immeasurable, positive impact on the lives of many.
Growing from a card table in his living room, Ramsey’s Lampo Group now ranks among Williamson County’s numerous nationally known corporations headquartered here as one of the “Top Private Sector Employers” in the county and has repeatedly been voted the “Best Place to Work” in the Nashville area.
The city of Franklin and Williamson County occasionally pays “special tribute to the achievements of our citizens, who have contributed to the growth and development success that continues to occur here; earning our county a place of recognition and acclaim across this nation.”
