Kick Up Your High Heels in Support of Habitat
Tickets are now on sale for Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County’s Hammers and High Heels event, which will be held on Thursday, July 18 at the Darrell Waltrip Honda Showroom. The event lasts from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will include food booths from several local restaurants, live music, drinks, and a large variety of silent auction items.
All funds from the night go directly to build a home for a hard-working family through Habitat’s Women Build Program.
“We are excited about supporting the Hammers and High Heels event and Women Build”, shared John Gallagher, General Manager and Vice President of the Darrell Waltrip Automotive Group. “We’ve been longtime supporters for Habitat for Humanity and we couldn’t be more pleased to be partnering with them again on the Women Build Program.”
“The cost of building materials for a Habitat home is $70,000, and we count on events like Hammers and High Heels to help us reach that goal,” explains HFHWC’s Director of Development Kim Randell. “We can’t thank Darrell Waltrip enough for their generous donation and support to make this event a reality. We will have great food, music, and silent auction items that appeal both to the ladies and the men. It is a great way to have fun, while supporting your local Habitat.”
Tickets are limited and can be purchased online at womenbuild2013.eventbrite.com. The $25 admission charge includes two drink tickets. Any tickets still available on the day of the event will be available at the door for $30.
