Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center to participate in Nashville Pet Expo
Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center in Franklin will be participating in the Nashville Pet Expo, Saturday, July 13, at the Nashville Expo Center inside the Nashville Fairgrounds. The Expo is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Williamson County MAC, or Mobile Adoption Center, will be there with dogs and cats available as part of the Expo’s Mega-Adoption event. Admission is free, and the July adoption rates of $85 for dogs, $50 for kittens and $5 for adult cats will apply.
In addition to the Mega-Adoption event, the expo will have over 100 vendors offering pet products and services, discounted vaccinations, obedience demonstrations, free nail trims, agility demonstrations and giveaways. Attendees can even bring their own pets for costume and talent contests (proof of immunizations required for admission). Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center at 106 Claude Yates Drive in Franklin is open for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The regular adoption rate for cats and kittens is $50 and $85 for dogs. Adoptable animals can also be viewed at www.adoptwcac.org.
