Williamson County United Way to hold annual Stuff the Bus

Organizers of the annual Stuff the Bus event are seeking donation of school supplies so that all Williamson County students will be ready for school next month. There are thousands of students in the Williamson County Schools in families that work very hard to cover basic necessities of food, shelter and utilities, with little left to cover loose-leaf lined paper, crayons, pencils and other supplies.

Individuals and groups may assist in this endeavor.

Items being sought this year, include: two-inch, three-ring binders; 24-count Crayons, composition books, highlighters, loose leaf notebook paper, pencil boxes and index cards.

The deadline for collection is July 19. Drop off locations are: Williamson County Public Library, 1314 Columbia Ave., Franklin and the United Way of Williamson County, 209 Gothic Ct., Franklin.

For information, call Debby Rainey at 615-771-2312 or email drainey@uwwc.org.
