As July comes to a close, the start of the school year becomes a more immediate reality. With the hottest months of the year winding down, people start thinking about the items on their summer bucket list that have not yet been crossed off. Franklin residents and workers answered the question:
What have you not done this summer that you want to do before school starts?
“I haven’t been to Percy Priest Lake. I’ve been to the beach there before, but I’ve never swum in the lake.
I want to do that.”
-Markus Hwang of Nolensville works in Franklin at Method Management
“I still haven’t gone to my uncle’s farm this summer and I want to do that. He’s got some dirt bikes and ATVs. I usually go up with my brother, and we just hang out.”
-Brent Andrews of Franklin works at Zolo’s Italian Restaurant
“I’m a biker, and I’m going back to work this Friday so I want to ride my bike before then. I like to ride on the Trace.”
-Dena Abbinante of Burns, Tenn. works at Fairview Middle School
“I’d like to get a tan, get some sun. Ideally on a beach on the Atlantic coast around Charleston.”
-Colette Keyser of Franklin
