Refuge Center announces educational conference Sept. 20 at The Factory

The Refuge Center for Counseling will present an educational conference Friday, September 20 at The Factory at Franklin in Building 8 from 8:30-12:30 p.m. The event titled “Boundaries: Balance is the New Busy” is a fundraising event for the not-for-profit center.

Paris Goodyear-Brown, a renowned therapist, is the featured keynote speaker. Her remarks will focus on managing stress by establishing healthy boundaries with co-workers and clients.

Members of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association can obtain 25 CEUs for LPC and LMFT mental health professionals for an additional $5 fee. Tickets are $50 per person and $35 for students with valid identification. Online registration is available at refugecenter.org.
