Help rescue The Park at Harlinsdale Farm from invasive shrubbery

Volunteers are needed for an invasive shrub renewal project at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Experience the joy of uprooting the invaders from our planet using a weed wrench tool. Volunteers will be removing print and bush honeysuckle. Native coralberry shrubs will be saved, trees will be freed and Miami Mist and Buttercup wildflowers will appear in the spring thanks to the efforts of dedicated volunteers. Tools, work gloves, bottled water and snacks will be provided. Wear work clothing appropriate for the weather.

All participants must complete a Volunteer Registration Form and email to parksinfo@franklintn.gov or mail to The City of Franklin Parks, box 305, Franklin, TN 37064 no later than Oct. 11.
