Two Weekends left to see Cheaper by the Dozen performance at Old School Theatre
It's rare to see a family of 12 children in our modern times, but Frank and Lillian Gilbreth vowed on their wedding day that they would have exactly that.
Then again, that was in 1904, and the couple made a living at being world-renowned industrial efficiency experts, a talent that they used in organizing their unsurprisingly chaotic family. From learning a foreign language to taking a bath, Frank Gilbreth always had a faster way of doing things and he spent so much time teaching the children about "wasted motions", that there wasn't much time for anything else, much less boys, dating, or a family dog.
Join the cast from the Spring Hill community for this wholesome family comedy at the Old School Theatre. The show opened on Sept. 13 and runs every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. through Sept. 28. The closing performance on Sept. 28 will be a 2 p.m. matinee.
All of the proceeds from the performance on Sept. 19 will be donated to the Tennessee Children's Home. Tickets that evening are only $5 with an additional donation to the Spotlight Charity.
