Adult Education holds open house Friday
Project Learn Adult Education of Williamson County will be holding an open house at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20 at 225 Noah Drive, Suite 380, in Franklin.
“Even though the name has changed from the Williamson County Adult Education to Project Learn Adult Education, students will still be able to receive the same superior services to help them receive their high school equivalency.” stated Sheryl Jordan, Director of Project Learn Adult Education.
“Because the location is still close to the local Tennessee Career Center, students will also still be able to transition directly from the Adult Education staff to the staff of the Tennessee Career Center where they can learn more about their options for furthering their education and/or their new career options and opportunities.”
Project Learn Adult Education program prepares students to obtain their High School Equivalency, formerly known as the GED® test credential. Instruction focuses on math, as well as, reading and writing in the context of the subject areas covered by the High School Equivalency exam; social studies, science, language arts reading and writing. They also offer classes for individuals who need to learn English as a Second Language (ESL).
