Franklin remains unbeaten- Ravenwood keeps pace in district

Franklin and Ravenwood both did their part to make next Friday’s matchup at the Rebels home field the biggest game of the year so far in District 11-AAA.
The Rebels rolled past Summit 49-12 while Ravenwood had no trouble with Dickson County, taking a 45-3 win.  Both teams enter the contest undefeated in District 11-AAA, with the winner almost certain of taking the regular season title.
Franklin (7-0, 3-0 District 11-AAA) saw a struggling Summit squad (1-7, 0-4 District 11-AAA) come out scrapping with a 70-yard drive for a 6-0 lead, before Franklin rolled off 42 unanswered points.
Joe Critchlow hit Ben Hagaman twice for scores, threw a 35-yarder to Luke Hill and a 61-yarder to Parker Pinnell as he hit 9-of-12 for the night for 219 yards and 4 scores. Malik Grimes had a 1-yard run, Brice Milam scored on a rush and Nick Hutchins returned an interception 26 yards for a special team score.
Summit got a late score after an 80-yard drive when Chris Jenkins plowed over from the two.
Ravenwood (6-1, 3-0 District 11-AAA) continued to be a scoring machine, rolling up 45 points against Dickson County (1-7, 1-3).
