Franklin Police Department recognized for traffic safety program
On Oct. 22, at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Philadelphia, the National Law Enforcement Challenge program recognized the Franklin Police Department as having the third best traffic safety program in the U.S., for police departments with 101 to 200 police officers.
The national program evaluates hundreds of agencies that implement truly innovative and effective traffic safety and enforcement programs. "I am extremely proud to work with such a dedicated group of police officers," said Chief David Rahinsky. "Their outreach efforts and use of data-driven traffic enforcement helps to make our community and neighborhoods safer."
