Obituary: David Allen Thompson
David Allen Thompson, age 55 of Eagleville, Tenn., died November 5, 2013. Thompson was a self-employed rock layer and mechanic.
He was preceded in death by father, James Thompson; grandson Ryan Bruce and grandparents C.R. and Gladys Thompson.
He is survived by wife, Pam Mangrum of Eagleville, Tenn.; daughter, Amanda Thompson of Eagleville, Tenn.; son, Brandon Duke of Hendersonville, Tenn.; mother, Jean Bell of Holly Springs, Miss.; step-daughter, Heather (Toby) Bruce of the Peytonsville Community; brothers, Jimmy (Ruth) Thompson and Dale (Vicki) Thompson all of the Flat Creek Community; sister, Susie Biederman of Franklin, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jordan, Justin and Jayden Bruce and Landon Duke; and his beloved dog, Muffin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jeff Haynes officiating. Interment, Hargrove Cemetery. Active pallbearers: Ron Harmon, Mark Vaughn, Jim Smith, Randy Brown, Archie Anderson, Lonnie Emler, Jimmy Garner & Daniel Biederman. Honorary pallbearers: Adam Williams, Matthew Smithson, Tony Smithson, David White, Troy Williams, Colton Emler and Toby Bruce.
