Association of Realtors names board, recognizes members for service
The Williamson County Association of Realtors® celebrated the installation of their 2014 Board of Directors tonight along with recognizing several members and offices for outstanding service.
NOLA Lending received the award for Affiliate of the Year. Steve Cantrell accepted the award on their behalf. NOLA was recognized for their support of the Williamson County Association of Realtors®, including support of continuing education and their general support of lending and real estate.
Phillip Cantrell received the coveted Realtor® of the Year award. Phillip, a resident of Williamson County for more than 40 years, is the Broker/Owner of Benchmark Realty. Realtor® of the Year is based on a member’s commitment to Williamson County and involvement in the Association. Phillip has served on the Board of Directors, the Scholarship Committee, and most recently led the Executive Search Committee. A leader in the business, Phillip is an ideal choice to receive this award for his commitment to our community and to the real estate industry.
Kyle Shults received the award for Rookie of the Year. Kyle currently chairs the WCAR Young Professionals Committee and is also very involved in the community as a volunteer for the Christian Women’s Job Corp, Magdalene House Rehabilitation Center, Thistle Farms and the American Cancer Society. Kyle has established herself as a role model for other young real estate professionals. She is a true leader in our industry.
Two awards were given to WCAR member offices for their support of RPAC, the REALTOR® Political Action Committee.
Battle Ground Realty, Daniel-Christian and Premier Auctions received the award for percentage participation for a small office and Crye-Leike REALTORS®-Franklin, received the large office award for participation. WCAR would like to thank all those that invest in the REALTOR® Political Action Committee.
