Pair of rivalries lead light schedule

A light prep basketball schedule for Monday night includes a pair of county rivalry games.
Summit travels to Fairview for a 6 p.m. girls and 7:30 p.m. boys contest.  The Lady Spartans are 1-2 early in the season while Fairview is looking for their first win.  On the boys’ side, it should be a good one.  Fairview sits 2-1 after knocking off Page and Nashville Christian.  Summit is 3-1, with wins over Page, Stewarts Creek and Coffee County.
On the other side of the county, Page looks to get back on track by hosting Battle Ground Academy.  The home standing Patriot girls are 1-2 on the season, facing a 2-4 Lady Wildcat team at 6 p.m.  Carli Batsell leads Page in scoring, averaging 14 points per game, while Allison Cowie leads BGA at 12 points per game.  Dylan White’s 14 ppg leads Page (2-4), while BGA (5-1) is on a four game winning streak.   Nathan Moran is averaging 16 ppg to lead the Wildcats.
