BGA taps Bevins to head communications

Battle Ground Academy announced the addition of Shannon Bevins as its new Director of Communications.
Bevins will be responsible for communication with all BGA constituents, manage opportunities that promote the school, as well as lead new communications efforts.
“Shannon is an incredible writer and will serve as a great ambassador for BGA,” said Randy Tucker, Interim Head of School.
“We are so glad to have her as the newest member of the BGA Advancement Team and look forward to her carrying the mission of BGA out to the community.”
A Harpeth Hall and Rhodes College graduate, Bevins currently resides in Murfreesboro with her husband Matt and two children Olivia, 10, and Turner, 8.
In addition to an extensive professional background, Bevins has worked as a middle school language arts teacher. She has also worked for the Ingram Book Company.
