First Farmers & Merchants expands Hollands duties
First Farmers and Merchants Bank announced this week that R. Craig Holland, currently Williamson County president, has added director of marketing to his responsibilities. Holland joined the Columbia-based bank in 2007, and has overseen the bank’s Williamson County expansion with two new locations opening since 2008.
Two years ago he led the planning and launch of the First Farmers Investment Services division, which he continues to manage. In his expanded role, Holland will now also lead the bank’s in-house marketing resources in day-to-day planning, budgeting and communications.
“I have the utmost confidence in Craig to continue moving us in the right strategic direction,” T. Randy Stevens, chairman and CEO of First Farmers said. “He has held a number of positions throughout our bank and has proven his deep understanding of our employees, our culture and our focus on providing customers superior products, service, advice and support across Middle Tennessee.”
Holland has over 30 years of banking experience in the Middle Tennessee area. Active in the community, he served as past board chair for United Way of Williamson County and was named director emeritus in 2011. Holland also served as a trustee of the Tennessee Banker’s Association’s Southeastern School of Consumer Lending where he continues to teach. In addition, he is a member of the Columbia State Community College Williamson County Development Committee.
