Fieldstone crash leaves three injured Friday

When an SUV leaving Fieldstone Parkway headed east ignored a red light early yesterday morning a minivan carrying two passengers struck the driver and passengers sending three people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Franklin Police Lt. Charles Warner confirmed the early morning accident that left the intersection at Fieldstone Parkway and Hillsboro Road closed for an hour as emergency workers and Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Cooperative employees responded to the crash.
A utility light was struck by a vehicle for the second time in two months at the entrance to the Harpeth Green Shopping Center.
The minivan, which had the green light, struck the SUV with such impact that the SUV rolled over on its side.
No charges were filed in the incident, according to Warner.
