Launch 4 Life offers continued learning for kids

In 2013, the Franklin Housing Authority and New Hope Academy partnered to host the Launch 4 Life Summer Camp.

This camp provides a continued learning experience for campers including many at-risk children from the Franklin Housing Authority. The focus of the camp is science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

By providing a fun learning environment for the children throughout the summer, they are better prepared for the start of school in August. When they are better prepared, they are more successful both academically and personally. This success can lead to self-sufficiency as they grow up allowing them to lead a life outside public housing.

We were able to provide this experience for 20 FHA children this past summer. In 2014, we would like to expand the program to include more children. As you consider year-end gifts, will you help our children?

$700 will provide funds for one camper for the entire 7 week camp.
$100 will provide funds for a camper for a week $25 will providing funding for art supplies for one camper for the summer.
