Young professionals talk Developing Williamson County tomorrow

Young professionals with the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce will gather tomorrow at the Franklin Theatre, 419 Main Street, for a talk on “Developing Williamson County” from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Panelists will include:
Brian Reames is a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Highwoods Properties, a NYSE Real Estate Investment Trust based in Raleigh, NC. He is responsible for a portfolio of over 4 million square feet in Nashville and Greenville, SC and his responsibilities include acquisition and disposition work, development oversight and office and retail leasing. Prior to joining Highwoods in 1996, Brian was a principal at Eakin & Smith, Inc. 
He currently serves on the boards of H.G. Hill Realty, Harpeth Hall School and NAIOP where he is a past Nashville chapter President. Brian is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has called Middle Tennessee home since 1983.

Glenn McGehee is a Principal and President at Southstar. His experience in commercial real estate development as an owner and developer dates back to 1994 with projects that include a 23 acre recreation and golf learning facility in Nashville, as well as residential property development. 
In 2001, McGehee joined the Shopping Center Group, LLC, where he served as a tenant real estate representative for several major national tenants. He was promoted to the company's board of directors and to the position of President of Operations for the Tennessee division. In 2004, McGehee was recruited by Centex Homes-Nashville Division to consult and oversee all land acquisition, land planning and entitlement. To date, he has conceived and executed five major property residential developments consisting of over 1500 lots with a combined area of 859 acres and land purchases of over $30 million.

Victoria Hirschberg is a Business Development Consultant with the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development based in Nashville. She covers four of the fastest-growing Middle Tennessee counties and works closely with existing industries. 
From 2009 to 2011, Victoria served as the marketing director for the McAllen Economic Development Corporation in McAllen, TX. She was charged with industrial recruitment and marketing for the bi-national area of McAllen and Reynosa, Texas. Previously, Victoria worked as a senior project consultant for Thomas P. Miller & Associates, an economic development-workforce consulting firm where she worked throughout the US on a variety of projects.
