Obituary: Maggie Irene Crafton

Maggie Irene Crafton, age 93, passed away January 14, 2014. Crafton was born in Rutherford County, Tenn. to the late Frank Edward and Josie V. Haynes Heaton. 

She was a long-time resident of the Bethesda-Cross Keys Community and member of Cross Keys Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lundy “Beeter” Crafton; one brother and four sisters; stepson, Raymond Crafton and step-grandson, Steve Strickland. She is survived by children, Dorothy (Gary) Clarke, Charles Crafton , Josie (Hugh) Jarratt and loving step-daughter Margaret Strickland; sister, Virginia McMahan; grandchildren, Dabney (Adam) Kirk, Courtney (Wilson) Hensley, Debbie (Ricky) Stanfill, Chris (Heather) Crafton, Chazz Crafton and Danny Stickland; and five great grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Erwin officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one our prior to services on Friday. Interment Cross Keys Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Wilson Hensley, Adam Kirk, Austin Stanfill, Danny Strickland, Chris Crafton, Jeff Maxwell, Roy Trice, Randy Giles and Ricky Stanfill. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the caregivers at Grace Healthcare.
