Williamson Tower adds family practice, changes location

On the afternoon of Jan. 16, the ribbon was cut for Williamson Medical Group, a family care practice located on the fifth floor of the Williamson Tower next to Williamson Medical Center.
“As one of the top five employers in Williamson County, Williamson Medical Center has about 1,500 employees,” said Matt Largen President & CEO of the Williamson County Chamber.
“Williamson Medical Center wants to see primary care services expanded as we continue to meet the needs of the community,” said Tim Burton, WMC associate administrator for operations.
The ribbon cutting marked the reopening of the practice of Arthur Williams, D.O. with a focus on treating the entire family.
Dr. Williams, formerly of Williamson Primary Care, moved to the new location, changed the name and expanded the practice to include local physicians William Daniel Halford, M.D. and Alex James Slandzicki, M.D.
Williamson Medical Group now serves the entire family in one location in a newly-remodeled space designed to better accommodate both physician and patient needs.
The three physicians will see patients of all ages using a personalized approach,treating the entire family for health issues, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anxiety and pediatric care.
