Health Department supply of flu vaccine depleted, suggests seeking other sources

The Williamson County Health Department has depleted its supply of seasonal flu vaccine for adults and does not expect delivery of any additional doses for this flu season.

The health department recommends that everyone over the age of six months get a flu vaccine each year, and  seasonal flu is circulating in the community.

Flu vaccine is still available from other health care providers.  Those who have not yet gotten a flu vaccine are encouraged to call their health care provider and/or other community providers of flu vaccine such neighboring county health departments, pharmacies and urgent care clinics to find a source for flu vaccine.

You may also check the Vaccine Finder online at http://flushot.healthmap.org/ to find sources for flu and other vaccines.
