A Vintage Affair to feature Little Texas
A Vintage Affair will presents its 7th Annual “A Fashion Affair”—a runway, music and wine event that benefits women’s and children’s charities—at The Franklin Theatre on Feb. 1, 2014. The night will feature fashions by Katy K Ranch Designs, and a concert by one of America’s favorite rockin’ country bands, Little Texas.
The evening will kick off with a runway show featuring famed Nashvillian, Katy K. of Katy K Ranch Designs. Katy K. hails from New York City, where she made a name for herself wardrobing burlesque dancers and pop divas. Her business soon led her Nashville. Katy K's Ranch Dressing combines Western wear for cowboys and cowgirls with vintage-inspired cabaret clothing. The evening will also feature jewelry designs by Shelbi Lavender.
Little Texas, who recently celebrated their 25th anniversary, promises to deliver the rocking stage performance for AFA patrons. The multi-platinum band’s four original members—Propes, Porter Howell (lead vocals and lead guitar), Dwayne O'Brien (vocals and rhythm guitars) and Del Gray (drums)—have rebuilt the franchise with a completely new sound. Little Texas is well known for their three No. 1 singles—“What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas” and “My Love”—and have received multiple industry awards, including a CMT Award, a Billboard award, a Radio & Records award and a Grammy nod.
The event is sponsored by CIGNA. Wine will be provided by Robledo Family Winery and Harvest Beverage Company, and will be served along with a specialty cocktail by Patron Spirits during the cocktail hour.
