Judy Fincannon music fund established

Brenda Hauk, Kay Jones (P.E.O. Chapter N President), Kate Snow and Judy Fincannon
(P.E.O. Member and Volunteer Music Director at BrightStone)

Members of Chapter N of P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization founded in 1869, recently held their monthly meeting at BrightStone, during which they presented a check to BrightStone to establish the Judy Fincannon Music Fund.  Mrs. Fincannon is a member of P.E.O. Chapter N, and has served as the volunteer music director at BrightStone for 14 years.

“What a wonderful way to recognize one of their own, while establishing a fund that will continue to grow and bless BrightStone for many years!” stated Brenda Hauk.  “We can think of no one more deserving than Judy.  She gives hours and hours of herself to BrightStone each year. This fund will help with musically related expenses, such as piano tuning, instruments, music, costumes, and more.  And one day, we hope to add handbells and establish a handbell choir!”

P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.  Learn more at
