Aerobics & Yoga Classes to be offered at FiftyForward College Grove
COLLEGE GROVE -- FiftyForward College Grove announces the return of fitness classes, in the form of Aerobic Exercise and Yoga, beginning Monday, Feb. 10. The classes will be held Monday and Wednesday mornings, with Aerobics from 9:00 to 9:45, followed by Yoga from 9:45 to 10:30. The fee for each class is $3 for members, and $5 for non-members.
The classes will be led by local fitness instructor, Kelley Shannon. Kelley has a background in Exercise Science and has worked in the fitness industry for twenty years. She brings the perfect blend of experience to the Center and is prepared to demonstrate modifications to accommodate students' individual needs. Having taught seniors previously, she is equal to the task.
"The beauty of aerobic exercise," says Kelley, "is its versatility. Someone without physical limitations can participate at the high impact level, while someone with bad knees or back issues can still get a great cardio workout in the low impact range."
The fitness classes are open to the community and the Center encourages people of all ages and fitness levels to attend. FiftyForward College Grove is located at 8607 Horton Highway.
