Weekend events scheduled for pet loves

Bachelor auction to benefit shelter highlights weekend
 
Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center will be busy this weekend promoting animal adoption at several events, and benefitting from a bachelor auction at Harley Davidson at Cool Springs.  
 
Saturday, February 8
Pet Adoptions-11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Pet Smart, 8105 Moores Lane, Brentwood, TN and at the shelter, 106 Claude Yates Dr., Franklin, TN.
 
Benefit Bachelor Auction-6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Valentines After Hours party at Harley Davidson of Cool Springs, 7128 South Springs Dr., Franklin, TN. Bachelor charity auction benefiting Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Couples and singles are invited.  Free admission, live music.
 
Sunday, February 9
Puppy Love Dog Fest- 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Independence High School, 1776 Declaration Way, Thompsons Station, TN.  Pet adoptions. Vendors. $2 admission benefits Independence PTSO.
 
Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For information about shelter services, call (615) 790-5590 or stop by the center, located at 106 Claude Yates Dr. next to Franklin High School.  All adoptions from Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center include spay/neuter, microchip and all vaccinations. Adoptable animals can also be viewed at www.adoptwcac.org.
