Four win titles, 29 medal at state

Four Williamson County wrestlers brought home championships and 25 more medaled in the TSSAA State Wrestling Championships over the weekend at the Williamson County Ag/Expo Center in Franklin.

Dillian Friesner (Independence/106-pounds), Luke Hamilton (Brentwood/145 pounds), Taylor Warren (Ravenwood/152 pounds) and Patrick Dooley (Franklin/160 pounds) all survived the best Tennessee could offer to win titles.

The 160-pound class was a lock for a home team as Dooley defeated Robin Klingensmith of Ravenwood in a  classic one-on-one battle that was almost a carbon copy of the Region 6-AAA championship bout two weeks ago.

Every school in Williamson County garnered at least one medal, including Independence and Summit.  Those schools both had a medalist in the Girls Invitational event.
