Obituary: Anthony D. "Tony" Briley

Anthony D. “Tony” Briley, age 58 of Thompsons Station, Tenn., passed away at his home on Feb. 18, 2014. He was united in marriage to Claudia Oswalt Briley on June 17, 1978. He was a member of Harpeth Hills Church of Christ. 
 
He graduated from David Lipscomb High School in 1973 and D.L. College in 1977. An employee of Fugi Medical for over 25 years. He was a second degree black belt in taekwondo and enjoyed running and fishing. He was also an avid fan of the University of Alabama and the Tennessee Titans. 
 
Briley was preceded in death mother, Mable Little Briley and brother, Richard “Dickie” Briley. He is survived by wife, Claudia Oswalt Briley; daughters, Lauren (Cameron) Robinson and Kara (Chris) Binkley; father, Garland Richard Briley, grandchildren, Jayda Renee Robinson and Jackson Anthony Robinson; sisters in law, Mary Ellen Briley and Renee Connally; nephew, Cody Connally. 
 
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at the Harpeth Hills Church of Christ in Brentwood, Tenn. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the church and also one hour prior to the service Saturday. Interment Spring Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Clark, Mark Fulford, John Whitfield, Ron Eatherly, David Henley Sr., Phil Pistole, Bob Sircy, Niel Olsen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarrior project.org.
