Obituary: Thomas Martin "Buster" Johnson, Jr.
Thomas Martin “Buster” Johnson, Jr. age 82 of Franklin, Tenn. died February 26, 2014. Born in Williamson County to the late Thomas Martin Johnson Sr. and Annie Belle House Johnson. He was a retired police officer with the Franklin City Police and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict and a member of the Tennessee National Guard.
He was preceded in death by sons, Kenneth Johnson and Johnny Johnson; grandsons, Barry Holt and Tommy Johnson; great grandson, Bentley DiMarco. He is survived by wife Eulene Johnson of Franklin, Tenn.; son Douglas Richard “Ricky” (Mary Ann) Johnson of Hickman County, Tenn.; daughters, Patsy (Richard) Marquith of Huntsville, Ala., Sandra (Calvin) Reed of Franklin, Tenn. and Pamela (Henry) Anness of Franklin, Tenn.; sister, Annie Mae Hartley of Hickman County, Tenn.; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Tim McElory officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Hollow Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department and the Franklin City Police Department.
