If the hustle and bustle of crowded malls this holiday season doesn’t sound appealing, try searching for that perfect last-minute gift at some of Williamson County’s locally owned and operated shops.
Over a century after they helped erect the familiar monument in the center of Franklin’s Public Square, the great granddaughters of Confederate soldiers battle against dwindling membership and a formidable, yet, inevitable enemy — time.
