Beechcroft Road now open after Spring Hill traffic accident

Beechcroft Road in Spring Hill is now open after a traffic accident caused about 1.5 miles of the road to close.

The Spring Hill Police Department reported the temporary closure of Beechcroft Road at around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday between Carters Creek Pike and Charles Lane.

Spring Hill Police Public Information Officer Lt. Justin Whitwell shared that a tractor trailer hit a power pole, knocking out electricity for some in the area. He said he was not aware of any injuries due to the accident.

Just before 1 p.m., the road was reopened.

According to Columbia Power & Water Systems, power was restored to all consumers who lost electricity due to the incident.
