Franklin Police investigating Saturday shooting death

In the early morning hours Saturday, Franklin Police responded to a shooting call on Edgewood Boulevard in Franklin after reports of gunfire. Police found an unidentified 26-year-old man who later was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police said the man was shot multiple times when they responded at 2:07 a.m. Saturday morning and after working to save the man, he later died. 

Police said, though suspect information and a motive is not immediately clear, Detectives are piecing the scene together and working to develop suspect information.

Police are urging area residents with security cameras to check for footage that might help with the investigation. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
